Handels's Ice Cream on Wheels

Here's the scoop. Now with Handel's on Wheels, the exciting Handel's experience can be wherever your crowd is. No carpooling. No driving across town. It's easy. It's convenient. It's perfect for any size event. It's the cherry on top. And while back in 1945 Alice Handel probably never dreamed her ice cream recipes would stretch from Ohio to Southern California, we think she would be proud of how popular her delicious frozen dessert has become.

OUR STATE: A RI CELEBRATION

Sponsored by the City of Providence Department of Art, Culture and Tourism, the Rhode Island Foundation, the Papitto Opportunity Connection, Roger Williams Park Conservancy and the Providence Tourism Council.

Concert takes place at the Temple to Music in Roger Williams Park. 

This concert is FREE and open to the public.  Food trucks will begin serving at 6:30pm.

City of Providence Independence Day Celebration 07-02-2024

Join us for our annual Independence Day Celebration!

This celebration will be held at India Point Park on Tuesday, July 2 at 6:00pm, in partnership with Narragansett Brewery. The event, which will feature family fun, live entertainment, and a fireworks display, is free and open to the public.

The City of Providence's Independence Day Celebration is sponsored by the City of Providence and Providence Tourism Council. Food trucks will be open starting at 5pm with live music from Big Lux and the Hype to follow.
