Thank you for coming by Kitchen 212! Our origins are based in Northeast Ohio, but the tastes of our sandwiches are inspired by global cuisine. Kitchen 212 values raising temperatures and standards. Water is hot at 211 degrees Fahrenheit, but at 212 degrees it boils. With boiling water comes steam which has been known to power massive machinery such as trains and boats.
Though the Kitchen 212 Truck isn’t powered by steam, we have a similar force. Chef Mike Hamlin is the MAN. As an Executive Sous Chef who has traveled across America, he has honed various techniques to create flavors with uniqueness and craft. Of course, he could never have done it without the polish of his beautiful wife, Mandy, the engine of this food truck.
Together, Mike and Mandy keep the water boiling, and the communities’ bellies full. Surviving a year of COVID-19 chaos we are fortunate to be a small business that was created by our world being turned upside-down. By constantly striving for that extra degree, like so many others, we hope to bring a sense of joy, community, and cravings that only a true passion for food can provide. Kitchen 212 is more than a quick bite to eat— it’s an experience.
